I have installed Developer suite successfully and have been working on it without any problem. But now I have a problem and want to deinstall the developer suite and it doesn't allow me to do it.
I am trying to deinstall it using the Oracle Universal Installer. And the error I am getting is ...
checking operating system version: must be 5.0,5.1 or 5.2. Actual 6.0 Failed<<<<<
I know why this error is occuring. It is because the Dev suite download which I installed was for xp. I changed the download files properties so that vista can accept it and did the install as mentioned in this link:

This is because there is no specific download for vista. And now while deinstalling it is creating a prob because the operating system is vista and not xp.
I just dont want to delete stuff. I want to clearly deinstall it which will clean the registry and all the files for me.
I am really stuck here and any help would be appreciated.

I could deinstall it.
I just had to make the universal installer compatible with the system just as I did it while installing.
Right-click and go to properties and select the compatibility tab and check the box to run this program in compatibility mode for windows xp (service pack-2). And then run it !
