please give me detail of browsing image file from any location with the help of form 6i.

use read_image_file build in to read image file from particular location.

Actually i want to create application like when a command button pressed then open a container which having various image files and select one image file from that and this image file goes to image item of forms 6i.

I am success to save image file in oracle table using read image built ins .

Please give me idea for the same urgently. Shocked

Please search this forum for 'd2kwutil'. It has a facility to show an 'open' dialog through which you can point to the file that you want displayed.

You can use the GET_FILE_NAME built-in.
Search the help system for it.
