thanks for your help.
Yeah at last i discovered that it was becasue of the trim function. After eliminating it , my procedure worked, this time each update process took only(!) 2 hours on average.At least it worked and my project finished.
Thanks for your help, otherwise i wouldn't think that a simple trim will cause so much trouble :)
