Hi,
I'm using the Oracle 9i and upgrading it to 10g. And want to use EXP/IMP utility to export the database from 9i to 10g.

is it possible to export DB in 9i and import in 10g using EXP/IMP utility?
which command should i use to import in 10g, either IMP or IMPDP.

And is viceversa possible, i.e, exporting DB in 10g and importing in 9i using EXPDP/IMPDP ?

Thanks in advance.

In addition: basically, you should perform export using the source database's EXP utility version (9i EXP in your case), and import the data using the target database's IMP utility version (10g IMP in your case).
