Hi,
I have used the OAAttrvalException constructor in View object row implementation class. I have an attribute pointing to the column where i am trying to throw the error message and in the setter method of that attribute i have called the constructor(like 'throw new OAAttrValException(parameters)'). The view object was extended with the "Row Class" as the custom row implementation java file. After bouncing the server, all the data in the table including other columns and rows are vanished.
Please correct me if i had proceeded wrongly anywhere.
With Thanks,
Thiyagarajan

Frank,
Thanks for the reply !!!
The forum which i saw suitable for raising this question is "JDeveloper, Java & XML" . And the thread i have posted here is getting visible over there also. Please let me know whether it will be rendered for the users in that forum too.
Thanks,
Thiyagarajan
