Hi,

I am trying to import a dump into a oracle 10g database.

While importing for some tables it throws an error saying that tablespace does not exist and the tables are not created.

The tablespace name in source database and destination database is different.

I would like to know how to specify the tablespace name with the import command , in which the database objects should be created.

Thanks in advance,
GOKUL

You can't.
You have to either precreate the table or let them created in the user default tablespace.

Please read & follow posting guidelines as stated in URL above

You can not "specify" the tablespace name to use for import.

You must manually "pre-create" objects in the new/different tablespaces.
