1. Client 9.2.0.1
2. Server 9.2.0.8
3. import from client 9.2.0.1, it always hang.
import trace shows:
ALTER SESSION SET EVENTS '28657 TRACE NAME CONTEXT FOREVER, LEVEL 1'
4. import statement:
imp userid=trade/trade@test fromuser=yrlo32 touser=trade feedback=10000 buffer=3000000 file=f:\all_0415sp1.d
mp statistics=none log=aaaa.log
5. This issue can be reproduced at will
Eventhough create 2 test tables and export them, imported those 2 tables. it will hang a
lso.
6. Using client 9.2.0.8 works, but I unable to upgrade the clinet to 9208.

but I unable to upgrade the clinet to 9208

why?

and did you found any error in alertsid.log file during database is hang.

We have too many oracle client to upgrade and My clients disagree upgrade the client. there is nothing about hang in alertsid.log

try exporting using 9.2.0.1 client and then use the same client to import
