hi,

i want to create calendar with time which contains hh:mm:ss?
i have calendar i want to add this service? any ideas.

I wonder how would "your" calendar look like for September 2008, having not only dates, but time up to seconds.

Just in case you didn't understand the above sentence: I see no point in doing that.

What time? If user selects 15.09.2008, as a date, what time would you want to set up with this date? Will your calendar look like

If that's so, I must admit that this is one of the weirdest ideas I've seen. If we suppose that a year has 365 days x 24 hours x 60 minutes x 60 seconds, your calendar will have 31.536.000 "rows". I hope your users will be happy scrolling through 31 million records to be able to select desired date and time value.

If that's the case, I'd rather let them MANUALLY enter both date and time. It would be much less time and resources consuming.

Hi Littlefoot,

While what you're suggesting doesn't make sense it's not what I thought of when I saw the OPs request.
A lot of DB tools have a calendar with a time component. I've attached a screenshot of the PLSQL Developer one.

BlueF - is this what you had in mind?
If so, what problems are you having?
If you've already got a working calendar adding time should be simple enough.
Just add fields at the bottom for hours/mins/seconds and allow the user to overtype them with the values they want - validating it to make sure it's a valid time.
