Dear Members
I am using forms 6i. I have a master detail form. In which there is only three records for each master record. The detail records can not exceeds three records. Problem is that i want to subtract 2nd row values from the 1st row and add 3rd rows values in it. And show the balance in summary columns. scenario is like this 1st and third rows values should be added and 2nd rows values should be subtracted.
One possible solution is that we store the second row values with negative sign. Now when we take sum of detail block it will show exact result.

But i do not want to add negative sign with the 2nd row values is there any other solution.

thanks & regards

Records in a table are like balls in a basket.
If there are 3 red balls in the basket, please identify which red ball is first & which of the 2 remaining balls is last or 3rd ball.

Once you uniquely identify order of these rows, you might create "hidden" items (invisible, not displayed) which would hold values having positive or negative sign. Create a summary based on these "hidden" items instead of displayed ones.
