What system privilege let you execute system packages(Oracle supplied packages) .

No system privilege but an object one: execute on the package.

Thanks mike,
i see one user able to execute dbms packages .
folowing are the roles user has .
CONNECT
RESOURCE
REPORT_USR
SELECT_CATALOG_ROLE

i have checked REPORT_USR role as well but donot see any execute privilege given on any package.Neithr it is given explicitly. how this is possible any idea ?

How did you check it?

Execute privilege on many standard packages has been granted to PUBLIC.
