Database is not coming after rebooting the box.

SQL> alter database open ;
alter database open
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

this is 10.2.0.3 on solaris 5.8.

what is in the alert_SID.log file; specifically what is in last trace file noted in alert_SID.log file?

It says pmon and smon both the processes terminated.
