hellow everyone ...
for nearly a month i have a problem in our forms wich calls reports,
the form it self functions perfectly ,, also the report ,, the change i want to make is the issue.
we as a huge compeny always have a time issue , thats whay we want to change the report calling so it directly print the pdf file without preview,,
the posts takes a long time before the appearing of the pdf file,,
about a minute or so ,, we meseured the query time in sql, and its taking only a seconds ,, so as the transaction time -assured by the server - ...
so we need to print it directly without preview.
so,, can we give a default desname insted of the printers names (the branches are many all around the country ), which makes it hard to get the specific printer name.
the we are operating on forms and reports 10g (rel 2) and the posts have a 128 k.b connection speed ,,
