Terminology confusion in Manufacturing module [message #334638]

Hi all

I am new to oracle apps, and now learning manufacturing
module, I have the following doubts regarding the
terminology, can anyone please clarify?

customer - the one to whom i am selling
supplier - the one from whom i am buying

Suppose I have a manufacturing company

SALES ORDER - Customer prepares it...and sends it to
company..

INVOICE - Company prepares it, and sends it to
customer along with the stock while shipping

PURCHASE ORDER - company prepares it, when it plans to
buy stock from suppliers, and sends it to suppliers

am i correct?
