Hello,
I need to make a new oracle client for winXP.
Actually we have this structure :
C:\oracle with
-->ora6i15 for app with forms6
-->ora734 for app with forms7
-->ora817 for running app with database 9/10
--> tnsnames.ora file
--> sqlnet.ora file
We need new client with client10g instead of ora817.
So I install client10g --> ok, app run fine.
But, i don't know how to add the others directory (ora6i15 & ora 734) and the registry changes
If someone could help me
thanks
Manu
P.S: sorry for my english

But, if you didn't change anything regarding
* one in forms6 on ora 9 (app2) --> i need ifrun60.EXE
* one in forms7 on ora 8 (app3) --> i need F45RUN32.EXE
why would you want to do anything about these products? IFRUN60.EXE is still in Developer_6i_home\bin directory, isn't it? Therefore,Quote: | i'll want to copy the actual directory ora6i13 to my new C:\oracle
| doesn't make sense to me. Copy <> Install; I certainly wouldn't do that.
I still didn't understand whether there are any problems with applications 2 and 3 or not? If there are, which ones? Any error message?
Besides, are you sure you want to mess up with Windows registry? I might be wrong about it, but - what difference does it make if new registry entry isn't HOME0? Does your application do something with registry? If so, I'm afraid I can't help you at all.
