I am in process to migrate forms 6i to forms 10g.I am getting the below problem:

Date field in forms 6i accepting date format as 'dd/mm/yyyy' without any format mask specification. But when form moved to 10g its not navigating out of that date field with displaying error "Frm-50026:Date must be enterned in format of 'DD-MON-YYYY'.I don't want to specify any format mask.I tried with alter nls_date_format with foms_ddl but no sucess. The form 10g running on the same DB as form 6i.

Is their any configuration settings that can resolve this issue.

Thanks

Why not? This is "Format mask" item property for:
Forms Builder
Display format and input accepted for data in display and text items

Thanks for reply
Actually We have 100s of forms. That means i need to search date field in every form to apply format mask.
Is their any other way like some config settings?

The 'alter' command was being applied to the database. You need to change the date format on the Application Server.
