hello all,

i have a field named user_name ,am using this field in many forms.

my task is i have to get the value of user_name field automatically while navigating between different forms ...
how do i get the value of user_name field ???
can i use session variables ??
if then how i use ??
please help me on this ..

You can use global variables or parameter lists to pass values between forms.

You should also be able to get the user from the session using USER or built-in GET_APPLICATION_PROPERTY(USERNAME).
