Hi Friends,
I am back with one more small doubt. I have developed a form and am using an LOV to populate some records using an LOV. The form consists of one text item and one display item.
Now my question is:

Is there any way such that a display item can be made editable at the time of insert( Insertion is based on the LOV selection) i.e., I mean to ask making an display item editable at the time of insert. Once the record is inserted and saved the record should not be editable anymore.

It will also be helpful if you can suggest me some other alternatives to make this possible.

See the Attachement It may helpful to you, One think Display item is only for to Display Not to Edit.
