Experts,

i got one work. i have a prod db. from there i need to copy 13 months data to archival DB. what could be the best approch to do it?

Depends on how you can identify 13 months of data.
Depends on volume of data.
Depends on source and target databases versions, OS.

How you will identified data based on 13 months? Is the table partitioned based on date ? or you have date column inside tables.
