How can we run shell script from owb mappings , pre mapping prcess, or process flows.

The first/only thing that comes to mind is call a plsql procedure. Have the procedure access a c procedure or ddl in windows. Have a small c program run the shell script. You should be able to find an example/instructions on the internet.
