Hi All,

I am facing the problem while applying redolog.
I am getting error "ORA-00326".

I have tried with registering logfile manually but hard luck .
How to over ride with this error please help its urgent.

ORA-00326: log begins at change %s, need earlier change %s
 *Cause:  The archived log supplied for recovery was generated after the
          log that is needed. Can not yet use the log for applying redo.
 *Action: Find correct archived log.

Hi Michel Cadot,

I have tried with this .i restore the original logfile but it still giving the error message and when i am trying to replace file getting error LOGFILE ALREADY REGISTER.

So now what to do to restore logfile ?

Hi Michel Cadot,

i exactly did nt get the answer as i was working on dev environment so i again recreate the the same env and then fix it .Second time i did ntget any error.
