Hi,
Suppose some malicious user killed achiver process using kill -9 in unix ,do oracle(PMON) starts archiver process in 9i automatically?
How to check for windows system what is process id for archiver process? Since in v$session & v$process,it shows background process, not specific archiver or pmon.
Thanks

On Windows, all oracle "processes" are thread into the same Windows process "oracle.exe".
