Oh? We have Digital Alpha server under OpenVMS and it ran Oracle 7 RDBMS for years; now it is obsolete, shut down forever (my heart is crying for it; Alpha, I mean, not Oracle 7). But we have never had Oracle 7 RdB (actually, I've never heard of it).
So, it appears that I was mistaken. I apologize, it wasn't bad intention, I just though that your product was something else (thanks to my ignorance). Also, thank you, Frank, for pointing that out.

thanks alot guys, although this one is an old DBMS, this is enough to keep our company running. unfortunately I'm new to this kind of RDBMS so I'm at a loss. I've look unto the manual but it only says this sample: jdbc:oracle:thin:@user/@myhost:1701:rdb1.
I hope someone knows to sort out the example for me.
