Hi,

I am trying to run a log on form and it takes the db username pwd and connects to the db and shows the form but the form is empty as in the pcture attached. I am not able to figure out the reason. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer"? (On MS Internet Explorer: Tools - Internet options - Advanced tab - Security section)

Did you install Oracle database and Developer Suite in different directories? If not, you should have.

Did you start OC4J instance prior to running the form?

Also, take a look at this thread.

I actually have Oracle forms & reports 6i also on my system (on a seperate directory though). Do you think this is creating a prob? If so can you tell me how do I uninstall 6i, because I dont know how to do it.

In Forms Builder, go to Edit menu and select "Preferences". Go to "Runtime" tab. Click on "Reset to Default" button which will set the application server URL. Also, make sure that "Web Browser Location" is correctly entered (you may browse to web browser).

As of 6i installation: as far as I can tell, 6i works correctly with 9i/10g Developer Suites as long as you make sure every product is installed in its own directory.
