I am trying to install oracle 10 forms and reports,
I downloaded from this link

http://edelivery.oracle.com/EPD/Search/handle_go

From the above link, i have downloaded only the following two:

oracle developer suite 10g cd 1 of 2 (B2449901)
oracle developer suite 10g cd 2 of 2 (B24500-01)

when i went in the install folder and started setup, after
finishing 32%..it gives this message

"please insert oracle devsuite disk1..." is it prompting
for B2449901 ? if so, i am confused as to which folder i have
to go and install....

I have attached the screenshot for that..can anyone please
explain me how to proceed now? I dont have cd, and i am
downloading it from oracle.com....what to do now so that
i can proceed installing successfully?

"edelivery.oracle.com" is unknown to me; I download Oracle software from Oracle Technology Network site.

Extracting compressed installation files into directories on hard disk and running Oracle Universal Installer directly from there causes no problem.

If you are prompted to choose path to "disk1", then do so. It is your computer, and only you know where you've extracted these files.

By the way, did you check the log file; perhaps it contains some extra/useful information.

I got the installation right

we have to store cd1 contents and cd2 contents in seperate
folders in the hard disk rather than extracting everything
in the same place
