hai friends

I was getting error while starting oracle .so i need to install apex 3.0 if any one find any links to download the apex please post it

please help me to get rid of this problem.........

What "Oracle"? What error? Why do you think that you have to install Apex 3.0? The most recent version is 3.1 and can be found at Oracle Technology Network site, its Download section. I'm not sure that previous versions are still available.

thanks to reply me
I am using oracle 10g Express Edition ,i need to download apex because it is showing error while i open the home page of oracle http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex
error showing "The requested URL /apex was not found on this server"
I tried download from OTN but i was not able to do it since i was unable to sign in the site as they have a problem in opening their register page

Please help me

As far as I can tell, Oracle 10g Express Edition installs Application Express as well. So - why would you want to install it once again?

Did you successfully install 10g XE? Did you make sure the database is up and running? Because, perhaps everything will be fine, as soon as the database becomes available.

Oracle 10g XE comes with apex but only a limited version. It is necessary to install XE properly. If you still want APEX, download APEX 3.0 zip and follow the instructions properly while installing. You will have no problem at all.best of luck.

What i meant was, when you install oracle xe, apex also gets installed. In this you dont have all the features available in apex 3.0. I hope you can now understand what i meant.

No, I don't.

But I'd love to read a document which explains features that are not available in Apex installed along with 10g XE database (compared to the same version standalone Apex installation).

application developer through pages are available after installing apex 3.0.zip version. i do not know about 3.1 version.
after unzip also lot of sql's were run to get the proper environment for developing pages alsong with graphic support
and report environment...

installing 10g edition alone did not meet my requirement in
earlier days.. anyway there is nothing wrong an accessing apex application developer through only 10g ee. i will also try it..
