We do have a PMS (Doctors) Delphi/Paradox.
There are several options to work with but Oracle seems to be for me the best option.
Question is how much can this cost?
Scenario 1 : We use IB with Oracle gateway >>> Oracle.
Scenario 2 : We use Oracle
50 Doctors?
100 Doctors?
300 Doctors?
1000 Doctors?
3000 Doctors using the system?
What can be the cost involved here, do you have any idea.
If you recommend the 10g Express edition, where can this be found on the Oracle website?
Thanks in advance.

Oh, I see.
Well, if you told us all of that in your first post, I wouldn't be that puzzled. But never mind that.
Oracle 10g Express Edition (XE) can be found here. It is completely free of charge; it has, though, some limitations (check XE homepage). Probably the most interesting one is a limit of 4GB of user's data. Once you reach that limit, you'll have to purchase a licence for a "full" Oracle database edition (Standard, for example).
How much would it cost? XE is free, as I've said - no matter how many "doctors" (users) you have. I wouldn't know how much you'd have to pay for other Oracle products - you'll have to contact Oracle Sales representative in your country.
