The most common way to do that is to use GLOBAL VARIABLES or form PARAMETERS.

The same question has been asked by your colleague (Badiuzzaman) an hour ago; could you coordinate your messages posted on the OraFAQ Forum (so that we wouldn't have to merge these topics all over again), please?

Hello Sir,
I am sorry I missed out on my friend's question.Sir as you have said we need to use global variables.I read about the help of forms builder but they havent mentioned where can we declare global variables.Could you please explain it a bit more in detail and let me know where can we declare global variables.

Also Sir I have what i exactly want to do is...I have prepared 2 forms as i told you before. Now the 1st form has a unique number.
say for eg:-there is a number 10001 given to my form. But this form would have different versions so for eg it wud be
10001 v1,10001 v2,10001 v3....and so on...how can i do this??
And i want to pass this 10001 unique number to the 2nd form that i have developed....Kindly help me Sir....I am stuck...its urgent

Thank You
Regards
