Just wondering what the best contract agencies were in the UK. Looking to start in the contracting world, and would appreciate any suggestions for agencies to use?

Where are you? Do you want the agency to get you a visa? I suggest going with a larger agency. For me, the only thing I MUST know is the margin that the agency is taking, other than that, (in Australia) they are all pretty much the same.

The thing that matters most to me is how I can trust them with my CV. Can I be absolutely sure that they only send my CV after I allow them to.
I don't really care about their fees, as long as they are transparent about it, both to me and the customer.

@Frank,

So true about "not sending a CV until permission given". It is so long since that a CV of mine has been sent without permission that I had forgotten that it used to happen.
