Oracle Alert logs ? ? ? [message #314625]

This is a quick one all. I have been sent 2 Oracle logs and I am not to sure on what they both do. One is called Alert_db and the other is idbAlert.

What is the diffrence between these 2 logs? Are they both for error detection?

I wouldn't know the answer, but wonder whether your question is related to Forms (or would you like us to move it to another, perhaps more appropriate forum)?

I have sorted it out. It turns out that there was a custom system in volved that editted the name of the normal Alert log. Thanks for the offer anyway.
