Hi. I have a problem when I install the patch for oracle 9 on windows vista. I get these errors: please check the attached file. Could someone provide me a solution? Thank you!

Oracle 9.2 is not supported on Windows Vista.

Hi. I have installed oracle 9 on vista without problems. The problem is the patch, i cannot install the patch.

Hi. The solution is simple. I have found it. Right click on setup.exe and check compatibility Windows XP sp2. Thats it.

That does not change the basic statement: it is not supported.
You may have it work now, for a while, but sooner or later it will fail and you will come back with the same kind of question and you will may find a workaround or not, but in the end it will not change the basic statement...

Change for 10.2 or 11g, this is a better choice.
