Hi All,
can any one please help me out.
I want to craete a drill down like this:-
Channel->Product Category->Product Sub category->Customer
and all these are from different tables.
can u plzz tell me how to create drill down for the example which i mentioned above.

Hi Amreeta,
If u know how to create drill down from single table then it will easy for u to understand.
Steps:-
1. Create new Dimension.
2. Call(Drag) Channel, Product Category, Product Sub category, Customer columns to newly created dimension.
3. Then give them parent-child relation as u do for columns of single table. e.g. Make Channel parent & Product Category its child and so on. AT the end u will get drill down hierarchy like:-
Channel->Product Category->Product Sub category->Customer
Note:- Your drill down result depends upon the relation among the tables from where you take the columns.

Hi Rajesh,
I have created a drill down as
ProductCategory<SubCategory<Product
but I am facing a problem that is
When I click category ,subcategory opens up and after that I can drill down both Category as well as subcategory to
open up Product.Category should have been disabled here.
Is there some property that I need to set .
Another thing is can we have drill down and drill up as well on the same columns like when it opens up and I reverse the clicks it gets closed.Is it possible in OBIEE?

Drilling up and down and expanding/collapsing to detailed columns will most probably be availabe in version 11. Not in the current version.
