Hi
In my report , i have the following fields
POSTED_DATE BEGIN_DATE END_DATE
The conditions are BEGIN_DATE> POST_DATE and END_DATE=BEG_DATE+18. Upto this part it went fine, but now i have to get the recent posted date from the total list and apply the above condition. My question is how to get the recent POSTED_DATE, pls any help is grtly appreciated.
Thanks

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Could you please provide us with a brief example of the data you have and what the desired output should look like?

Aha. If that's the case, then use subqueries in Discoverer (the funtionality is called something like related workbook, used in conditions - you should be able to find it in the manual).

I tried all the above, but for some reason i'm not getting the expected results. in the discoverer admin i created a custom folder with the SQL in it and when i joined it to the other folder its giving me the ORA01468 ERROR as the other folder is already joined to a 3rd folder.Any advices?

Then either you have defined the master-detail relationships in Discoverer the wrong way around, or your datamodel is very badly designed. Please check the involved master-details first.
