The only answer that could help you from this group would be "it is not stable" because in that case you could stop right now. But I take a certain level of stability for granted so it seems unlikely that you will get that answer.
I guess whatever answers from people with 11g experience are you won't get around extensive testing. In other words, even if 11g is the most stable DB of the world and never crashes, you would still have to do a lot of testing with your application to make sure that everything works as before, especially since the CBO underwent some changes and bug fixes and there were new features added along the way.
