Hi All,
We have a large and very active CRM system, most transactions last
only a few minutes,
however I noticed entry in V$TRANSACTION that has START_TIME more
than
10 hours ago. Column V$TRANSACTION.STATUS has value 'PREPARED'.
There are no entries in DBA_2PC_PENDING.
Unfortunately Oracle Server Reference manual does not explain meaning
of values
in this column. When I searched Metalink all search results were
related to
distributed transactions visible in DBA_2PC_PENDING.
Any idea what 'PREPARED' means? Does it mean that this is part of
distributed
transaction?
This is 9.2.0.8 on Sun SPARC Solaris.
There are database links FROM this database, but as far as I know they
are used only
to refresh a few snapshots. There is also at least one database link
INTO this database,
I checked database that owns the link: both V$TRANSACTION and
DBA_2PC_PENDING
are clean. Alert.log is clean - no ORA-00600 or ORA-07445 or any other
errors.
Unfortunately bouncing the database is not possible. Received on Mon Apr 06 2009 - 05:08:54 CDT
