  1. hire a dba that knows wtf he's doing :)
  2. patch oracle so it's supported if you value your data.. upgrades are not as scary as they seem. ....... We run Oracle 9iR2,10gR1/2 on RH4/RH3 and Solaris 10 (Sparc) remove NSPAM to email
