Lori, dumb questions but I will go ahead.



    
  
  1.   Did you install Data Protector software on the remote host?

  
  2.   Did you configure in the DP GUI an oracle user etc for the remote
host?

  
  3.   Can you connect via RMAN on the remote host to the recovery catalog
and data protector cell manager and list backups for the target?
