Thanks a lot. I did not  know about SQL Loader CHARACTERSET. I think
problem is copy and paste. Need to figure how to make
it work.



Locale  on HP UNIX is C.utf8. I have seen en_US.uf8 on some UNIX but no
on HP Unix.
