Thanks for the feedback.

I have the hardware already, I just needed some clarification of which Oracle download was correct for certain chips.

A simplified view is:

AMD64 (aka x64 and x86-64) is compatible with Intel's EM64T

but

Itanium (aka IA64) is not compatible with the above...
