Never mind , I got the soultion ... the system was missing two packages
(SUNWuiu8/SUNWuiu8x).





The problem was that the SUNWuiu8/SUNWuiu8x packages were not
installed.


This is something that wasn't listed in their documentation, but as
it turns out is required by their installer.
