Define your resource requirements - especially CPU count - and purchase the RH EL (or Novell/SuSE EL) edition that you to satisfy that CPU count.

You can always upgrade to a higher edition later, especially as you have no license charge and the only thing you pay is an annual support charge. So in 2 years time, you go from 4 to 12 CPU and upgrade at that time, having saved $x ... or upgrade to a newer & much faster 4 CPU box.
