Most places I've seen that try to make a ridiculously simple password scheme do things like append the app name to the users initials and make the users initials the password, or something equally stupid. So I agree with Mark, the cracking is scary, and I agree with Pete, should check all known default passwords. I mean, when the real worm gets written, isn't that what it is going to do? Besides put up a fake form to enter username/password, of course :-O
