Hi,

I am so new to oracle. I have no prior knowledge of this big thing that you guys deal with. Looking for some info to get started on linux:

My questions:
1. Is there a cheatsheet that might mention the steps

required to startup the oracle server.

2. I need to import a *.dmp file to my database. Do I need

to first start the database server and then use the "imp"     command?
