Hi,
I am attempting to install Oracle 10 on Solaris(Intel x86)
I read the installation pdf file from Oracle but it seems different to what
I remember(last setup 8.1.7)
eg it does not say to setup ORACLE_HOME , only mentions ORACLE_BASE and
ORACLE_SID?
I had a go but when tried to run sqlplus got an error saying $ORACLE_HOME
may not be set.
Got a feeling I may have needed to do more prelim work?
Is there a more comprehensive guide or can I just use my old directions?
