Yes, always the same SQL and operational commands for DB2 for Linux, UNIX (AIX, Solaris, HP/UX), and Windows.
The only difference is that one must change the file name syntax between Windows and other operating systems since Windows has drive letters (C:\, D:\, etc.) and Windows uses back-slashes instead of forward slashes. This only applies to situations where you need to tell DB2 about specific file names or directory paths, such as where to place a tablespace container, where a backup should be placed, etc. Received on Thu Mar 03 2005 - 19:20:18 CST
