Not really enough detail. Are you tnsnpinging an IP address or a service name alias? Is the listener running, and on what IP and port? Are there any services associated with that Listener. How do you do IP address resolution? Is your hosts file up to date? Is your DNS server correct? Can other machines ping that server, and never mind about Oracle for a bit? And can the server ping itself, and never mind about Oracle for a bit?
