I answered the opposite way about the interconnect because I was thinking that it is often the weakest link and would quickly bring the entire thing to a screaching halt. Howard is correct that there is not technical reason. We agree on that and we agree that it is completely stupid to do so. Two agreements in a day so I'll stop there before he thinks I'm toadying up again.
