Assuming you mean "everyone" I agree. I can't see purchasing an EE license if SE1 will work either.

RAC will certainly not solve SGA tuning problems but I wasn't reacting to that part of what you wrote.

I was reacting to the following statement:
"My advice based on my experiences with RAC is never use RAC, if there is any way how to do the job without it!"
Which I thought demonstrated a lack of understanding about to how install and configure RAC. My advice would be to use RAC anytime it will save money on hardware sufficient to cover the cost of training and/or where sub-second fail-over is required. A very different statement.
