Any of those orders will do. The installer will never overwrite new
client files with an older version.

Yes I read this too. But I just installed ODP.NET yesterday on a clean machine, and I swear it installed the 9.2.0.4 client, not 9.2.0.1. I can't check for you right now, sorry. You might want to try just installing ODP.NET and see which client version is installed. You can always patch up the client afterwards.
