Help... Oracle 8.1.7 on Solaris for Intel

Hi,
I have installed Oracle 8.1.7 on Solaris 8 for Intel Platform. While i am trying to compile a C code which uses Pro*C precompiler syntax, i received an error like this;

cat: cannot open /u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.7/lib32/sysliblist

I think it is looking for lib32 directory but can not find. i have checked the directory and see only lib directory exists there under /u01/app/oracle/product/8.1.7/

Can you please help or advice me on this issue?
