I wholeheartedly concur with that recommendation. It's an excellent book! Also, I'd like to recommend "Practical Oracle 8i" by Jonathan Lewis. It's a little older book, but still very relevant. I hope that Jonathan will write a second edition, updated for version 10, soon.
